Hello dear readers! I realize it's been two weeks since my last post. Time just flies by when you're having fun! I've been super busy with the oh-so-yummy Christian Grey. I'm now on book number three and although I don't want it to end, I cannot wait to find out what happens.

Yesterday I attended my nephew Billy's High School Graduation. He's the oldest out of all my nieces and nephews and I'm so proud of him.

I found this beautiful printed dress over
at Winners for 40$. Quite the steal!

The Graduate!
My nephew Jimmy.
He obviously loves picture time. :)

Billy looking oh-so-fresh for Prom.

After the graduation ceremony, Mum, my sister Jojo and I, wondered over to a nearby park to admire the sunset and have some fun with the camera.

Jojo's dress is available at Suzy Shier.
I'm very much in love with this print.

We are both loving the asymmetrical hem trend.
The three beauties!

Happy Friday everyone! Unfortunately I don't have an outfit for you today. Just a quick hello. I've had my nose stuck in a book these past couple of days, and not just any ordinary book. 50 Shades Of Grey! I can't seem to put it down. Not even to take outfit pictures! I totally understand what the huge buzz has been about. I'm absolutely smitten with Christian Grey! He is just so "yummy" as my older sister would say! ;) Ladies, if you haven't already read this book, I highly recommend it!

I'm off to the cottage tonight. It's Mum's 60th Birthday today and we are gonna have a huge family celebration! I might have to sneak off somewhere to read the last chapters of my book. Hopefully nobody misses me while I spend some time with Christian Grey. I just don't think I'll be able to wait until Monday to find out what happens!

Wishing everyone a good weekend, and a happy Father's Day to all those wonderful Dad's out there! Mine is one of a kind and I will definitely be celebrating him on Sunday. Everything that he is and has been! Je t'aime p'tit papa cheri! xoxo
Here's the pink clutch I mentioned in a previous post. :)

I am having so much fun with my new blazer. I've been able to pair it with so many different things. Last Friday I wore it to work for Dress Down Friday and got many compliments. It's such a beautiful color. One of my co-workers told me she doesn't even own one blazer! I couldn't believe it. I live in blazers! They are so versatile. I told her every woman needs a blazer!

This past Sunday, the weather was absolutely gorgeous so Mum and I decided to take my niece Delanee to Bellevue Park to feed the ducks! This is one of my favourite things to do during the summer. It always brings a smile to my face! It also gave us a chance to take some fun pictures. Delanee loves picture time, as long as you let her see the picture after every shot. Ha! She's so cute, and soooo funny!

Baby geese

After we were done feeding the ducks we got some ice cream and found ourselves a bench near the garden area . As you can see, Delanee was making all kinds of funny faces. I feel as though I ate ice cream every day last week. Ha! Yum!
This is my 50th blog post! I can't believe how fast the months have gone by. I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has encouraged me, supported me and inspired me. I also want to thank all of my readers and everyone who commented. I am having such a great time sharing with all of you and I am looking forward to sharing even more.

So this past Thursday, Mr. M and I had a little dinner date and this is the outfit I wore. We went to Bali which is my absolute favourite spot. It's an amazing Indonesian Restaurant and I swear I could eat there every day! It's that good! Even though we were both extremely full, there's always room for dessert right? So we went to Scoops for some ice cream. A single scoop of Maple Walnut in a waffle cone was plenty for me, but Mr. M got 3 scoops! First of all, I don't know how he could possibly have room in his belly for all that! Secondly, each scoop was a different flavour! Maybe this is normal to some of you, but it's new to me. Never in my life have I seen someone pile on 3 different flavours. Ha! But hey, why not? He was also very willing to share...which is exactly how I got ice cream all over my face. :)

On to some fashion talk. Last week, Mum and I went to the mall to get a Siblings gift card for my niece's birthday gift.  We really had no intention of shopping for ourselves, but somehow we ended up in Urban Planet. Hmmmm...I'm blaming it on Mum this time. She dragged me in there. I swear! Ha! Sometimes Urban Planet has some really great finds for an amazing price. Like this gorgeous blazer. The colour is perfect for the summer season, I just couldn't resist.

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a good weekend! It was my niece's birthday party on Saturday. Perfect opportunity to enjoy the family, eat lots of pizza, devour two pieces of ice cream cake, have a few good laughs and enjoy some rays. Watching all of the little kids swing away at the pinata was super cute and amusing too! Oh and then convincing them to share all of the candy with their Auntie Minnie was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Ha! I just kept reminding them which ones were my favourites. I have the best little nieces and nephews! They love to share.

This is the dress I wore to the birthday party. I wanted to wear something super bright and fun. I thought it was perfect for a little girl's party. :) My nieces loved it!

I found this yellow watch in the gift shop where I work, and I just had to have it. It's the perfect accessory for my summer wardrobe and I have a feeling I will be wearing it often.  Also, just the other day, we received this bright yellow clutch which of course was love at first site! I purchased the bright pink version as well which I'm sure you will see soon enough.

Last week Jojo (my sister), Mum, and I, went to a nearby city for the day to do some shopping and attend a music competition. We got all dressed up, drove 3 hours, and shopped 'til we dropped! There were a few great finds and also a few disappointments. A few weeks back, Mum and I were at Suzy Shier and I fell in love with a gorgeous long sleeve coral lace dress. Unfortunately they didn't have my size. L and XL was all that was left. It was truly depressing. I loved the dress so much I actually wished I was one size bigger just so I could wear it! So, while on this little shopping excursion with Jojo and Mum, we stopped in at a Suzy Shier and I was so excited when I spotted the dress. Unfortunately all they had was S and L. Once again I was out of luck. I was just so annoyed happy when my sister grabbed the S size and looked absolutely fabulous. Ugh! Life is so unfair. I told her not to speak to me for the rest of the day. I was joking of course! :) I really enjoyed my day though. After dinner we attended the music competition to support my nephew who played an amazing guitar solo, which he composed himself. He is so talented!  We didn't get home til 1:30 in the AM and we were all very tired but my nephew's group won the competition so it was well worth it!

The dress I'm wearing here is a wrap dress from Suzy Shier. I fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on. You all know I'm a huge fan of orange at the moment, so I couldn't resist. It makes me feel so pretty and feminine. I'm loving the side slit!

The wonderful pair of white shoes is the "great find" I mentioned earlier. They are exactly what was missing in my summer wardrobe and surprisingly very comfortable! I'm super pleased with them.

Hello dear readers! I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mum and I had a great time at the cottage. I got all of that peaceful rest I was hoping for, and yes, I definitely ate way too much! Sunday morning I woke up to the smell of a delicious breakfast that my wonderful sister made. Crepes, topped with fruit, and whipped cream and syrup. My absolute favourite! I only ate six! Ha! Oh and bacon of course! Crepes and camping just go hand in hand in my family. :)

Now on to some fashion talk. Sequins are huge this Spring\Summer season and I'm super excited of course! I used to think that sequins were only for the holiday season, but not anymore! I'm sure that by now, everyone knows that my personal style is definitely not casual. Ha! But at times, especially when it comes to summer shorts, comfy and casual is necessary. So this sequin tank is exactly what I needed to dress up these casual army green shorts. I plan on wearing sequins a lot this summer!

Blazer ~ Maurices. Sequin Tank ~ Forever 21. Shorts ~ Rickis.

Happy Friday everyone! :) I'm so glad the weekend is here! Mum and I are heading out to the cottage first thing tomorrow morning and I plan on sleeping in, eating way too much food and enjoying lots of quality time with my family! Hopefully the mosquitoes don't eat me alive. Just a quick post for today. I thought I would share with you my top favourite scents at the moment. Working at a pharmacy gives me the chance to test many fragrances and I'm truly obsessed with all six of these. Some are floral, some are sweet and some are warm and spicy. I good selection for any mood or any occasion. I own a few of them already, and the ones I don't are on my wishlist. Oh and don't you just love perfume ads? :)

Dolce & Gabbana The One ~ Miss Dior Cherie ~ Ralph Lauren Romance
Versace Bright Crystal ~ Thierry Mugler Angel ~ Chanel Coco Mademoiselle

Hope you have a great weekend!
