Black and White is one of the biggest trends this Spring season and I'm super thrilled about it! Anyone who knows me well, knows how much I love this combination. Especially when it comes to home decor. When I think of black and white, I always think of Chanel . . . timeless, classic and ultra chic! We're seeing this trend in a variety of styles, from solid separates and color blocking to stripes and graphic prints. There's definitely something out there for everyone!

Hello dear readers! I'm so anxious for Spring to arrive, that I've started cleaning and organizing my closet, which is not an easy task if you're someone like me who gets quickly distracted. I got about half way done when I came across these brown Oxford heels that I had completely forgotten about. I don't wear these nearly enough and decided it was time for their debut on the blog!
This tweed skirt has been a favorite this fall/winter season. The last time I wore it, I paired it with black, burgundy and mustard yellow (found here).
I've been loving the brown and black combo lately, and thought it would be a perfect mix. I added the flower scarf to bring out the mustard yellow in the skirt. :)

Ok, so I'm really serious about this whole "saving money" thing and I've been trying really hard. Mum has not made things easy for me though. For the past 2 months she's been begging me to take her out shopping and I've somehow managed to say no every single time . . .until today. On our way home from an appointment, we stopped in at Reitmans (her favorite store). Their petite section is perfect for Mum, and although I have found a few great items there for myself in the past, it doesn't happen very often so I figured I was safe. I was wrong. Everything in the store was BOGO and I fell in love with soooooo many things. Especially their shoe collection! I just couldn't resist.
Today's outfit is the second part to my fashion challenge: to style a casual denim shirt. Like I mentioned in the previous post, a denim or chambray shirt is perfect for layering.
